La La Anthony channels pal Kim Kardashian in a black two-piece dress as she promotes new book about success

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. 

And La La Anthony gave a nod to BFF Kim Kardashian on Wednesday when she stepped out in an ensemble much similar to one of the reality star's signature looks.

The raven-haired beauty was spotted leaving the Meredith Vieira Show studios after promoting her book The Power Playbook in a black cropped top and skirt.

La La displayed a portion of her flat stomach in the ensemble and her maxi skirt featured a long split which flashed her toned legs and a stylish pair of lace-up ankle boots.

The author pulled her tresses into a tight and chic ponytail and accessorised with a statement gold open choker. 

She showed off her stylish look in a variety of Instagram snaps the same day, including one with singer Kelly Rowland who stunned in a white pencil dress with sheer panel near the hemline.
